Cousin Jack, The Classic and The Ultra is a trail running event organised by Bys Vyken Events on Saturday 7 March 2026. The main venue is The Island Centre, St Ives, Cornwall (TR26 1SY). The Classic is a point-to-point course between St Just and St Ives. The Ultra is an out-and-back route that goes from St Ives to Cape Cornwall and returns, with over 7000 feet of elevation.

Course, entries and logistics

Both races are multi-terrain and include muddy fields, rocky headlands, steep paths and boggy sections. Entry categories include affiliated and non-affiliated options; listed entry prices start from £38 for the Classic and £60 for the Ultra. Entries close two weeks before the event. Refunds are available up to four weeks before the start date; deferrals are allowed up to two weeks before the start date and cannot be refunded at a subsequent race.

The Classic starting point is at the St Just miners chapel. The Ultra starting point is at St Ives, The Blockhouse. Parking is available at St Ives Leisure Centre and coaches run to St Just. There are safety cutoffs on course: a seven-hour limit for the Classic and a twelve-hour limit for the Ultra.
