Cousin Jack, organised by Bys Vyken Events, takes place in St Ives, Cornwall on Saturday 7 March 2026. Distances

  • 18 miles - point-to-point between St Just and St Ives (Classic Jack)
  • 35 miles - out to Cape Cornwall and back, about 7,000+ feet of elevation (Ultra Jack)

The Classic is a point-to-point route arriving in St Ives; coach transport is provided from St Ives to St Just for that race. The Ultra starts in St Ives, proceeds to Cape Cornwall and returns to St Ives.

Entries, fees and policies

Entries close on 21 February 2026. Categories include affiliated and non-affiliated options and coach-seat options for the Classic. Published entry fees are: Classic affiliated £38, Classic non-affiliated £40, Ultra affiliated £60 and Ultra non-affiliated £62 (service fees apply).

The event permit is listed as ARC. Refunds are allowed up to four weeks before the event and deferrals up to two weeks before. Deferrals cannot be refunded at a subsequent race. If the Met Office issues an Amber or Red weather warning, the race cannot go ahead; organisers may reschedule or run the event virtually.
