RTT Margam Trail

The RTT Margam Trail is the third installment of the 2026 RTT Series, held within the grounds of Margam Country Park in Neath Port Talbot. The event features two distinct distance options on a course designed to showcase woodland paths and views of the local castle.

The available distances for participants are:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km

The course is based on a 5 km lap. Participants opting for the 5 km distance complete one circuit, while those participating in the 10 km event complete the lap twice. The route is fully marked and marshalled to assist navigation. Organizers advise that participants keep to the left-hand side of the paths and remain respectful of other park users during the race.

Participants receive chip timing for accurate results and a finisher's medal upon completion. Water stations are provided along the route. For those traveling by vehicle, car parking is included in the entry ticket and is located at the East Gate of Margam Park, a short distance from the start area. The event is open to participants aged 16 and over. An award ceremony is held following the conclusion of the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
