Iron Legs Mountain Races features multiple trail distances from 25 km to 100 km, plus a 50 mile relay and a Racing Dusk event. Registration is open and the organizer has held events since 2009.

Mad Hatters Running Club stages the 11th annual Futterwacken Trail Run in Elkwater, Alberta, offering three route options, a finisher medal for all and T shirts via registration. Early bird registration begins May 15.
