Chad’s Day For Change Urban Trail Race is set for August 8, 2026 in Gold Bar Park, Edmonton, AB, Canada. The event highlights the east end of the river valley trail system and uses single-track and double-wide trails. The race starts at Gold Bar Park and uses three different loops that run through nearby parks and trail areas. Course and distances
The course uses river valley trails and includes paved, dirt, single-track, and hilly sections. The three loops are:
- 12 km loop to Dawson Park
- 12 km loop crossing the North Saskatchewan River to Sunridge Ski Area
- 10 km loop through Goldstick Park

- 34 km solo
- 34 km relay (3 runners)
- 21 km half marathon
- 12 km or 10 km single loop solo
- 5 km walk/run
- 1.2 km kids event
Registration, fees and fundraising
Early-bird and regular registration prices apply and vary by distance. The kids event has a minimum $5 donation with no other fees. Registrations include a finishers medal; shirts are provided for all events except the kids event. There is an optional $10 add-on for HeadsUpGuys and additional donation options.
