The Lost Soul Ultra takes place September 11 - 12, 2026 in the Oldman River valley of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. The event is held on lands of the Blackfoot people and is shared with the Cree and Metis. Distances offered include:

Course and race format
One lap of the course is 50 km with approximately 1,100 m (3,600 ft) of elevation change. Typical hills on the course are about 50-80 m (150-250 ft) in size, and runners encounter about 14 such hills per lap. The 100 Mile event is three laps plus an extra 9 km loop with a 33-hour cutoff. The 100 km event is two laps (about 102 km) with a 21-hour cutoff. The 50 km event is one lap with an 11-hour cutoff. The 100 Mile and 100 km events are qualifying races for the Western States Endurance Run.
Entry rules and other details
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Finishers receive a large etched rock. No bib transfers are allowed; partial credit for next year can be moved to another person once. The event offers a scheduled partial credit scale based on withdrawal date: Nov 1 to Feb 27 - 100% credit; Mar 1 - 90%; Apr 1 - 80%; May 1 - 70%; June 1 - 60%; July 1 - 50%; Aug 1 - 30%; Aug 11 to Sep 9 - $50 credit.
