Lost Soul Ultra - Lethbridge, AB
The Lost Soul Ultra takes place September 10 to 11, 2027 in the Oldman River valley of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. The event acknowledges that it is held on the lands of the Blackfoot people and shared with the Cree and Metis; the trails run near one of the last large battles between the Blackfoot and Cree.

One lap measures 51 km with approximately 1,250 m (4,500') of elevation change. Most hills are about 50 to 80 m in height and runners encounter roughly 14 such hills per lap.
Two events start on Friday morning: the 100 mile, which has a 33-hour cutoff and requires completing three laps plus an extra 9 km loop, and the 100 km, which has a 21-hour cutoff and requires completing two laps (about 102 km). The 50 km event starts on Saturday morning and has an 11-hour cutoff for one lap. The 100 mile and 100 km races are qualifying events for the Western States Endurance Run (WSER).
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Finishers receive a large etched rock. Registration opens November 1, 2026 at 7:00 AM MT. The organizer offers partial credit for the next year based on date of withdrawal, and does not allow bib transfers though a partial credit can be moved to another person once.
