Event Details
The Lost Soul Ultra Marathon takes place in Lethbridge, Alberta on the weekend following Labour Day. The event features three distances: 100 mile, 100 km, and 50 km. The courses run through the river valley coulees on public and private land.
The Course
The 50 km course includes three aid stations, with segment distances varying from 7 to 16 km. The elevation gain or loss is approximately 1,100 meters with 16 significant hills over the lap. The race is limited to 350 participants. Racers and pacers must be at least 18 years old.
Race as a Qualifier
Lost Soul Ultra is a qualifier for the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run. A finish of the 100 km distance in under 21 hours qualifies for Western States. A finish of the 100-mile distance in under 33 hours also qualifies. Runners cannot drop down from the 100-mile to the 100 km distance during the race.
