A scenic, hilly trail half marathon in the Cothi valley near Pumsaint, offering a 13 mile race, a 6.5 mile alternative and a kids race, based at Pumsaint Village Hall on 20 September 2026.

The Porthkerry 5MT is a five mile mixed terrain race in Porthkerry Country Park, offering coastal views and diverse surfaces. The 2026 edition marks the race's 20th anniversary and includes the South Wales Regional Trail Championship.

A multi day continuous 286 km mountain race across Wales with over 11,000 metres of ascent. Enter solo or in teams of three or six; the course links Llanberis, Yr Wyddfa, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan with five supported checkpoints.

Three coastal trail races on 26 September 2026 around the Gower Peninsula offer routes of 50, 34 and 23 miles along cliffs, bays and coastal paths. The event is self navigated with checkpoints, GPS tracking and coach transfers to starts.

A functional fitness race at Neath Sports Centre on 26 September 2026 featuring ten Xercises plus running, with Solo, Doubles, and Relay categories and standard and LITE weight divisions.

A Category B Medium fell run of 11.6 km with 425 m ascent around Glyn Ceiriog on 26 September 2026. Entry is £6 on the day and runners should expect to carry WFRA recommended kit while refreshments and changing facilities are available.

Guto Nyth Bran is a fell race on 26 September 2026 at Bedwas Community Hall covering 9.6 km with 396 m of climb. The course is partially marked, includes a short walk from parking, and is for entrants over 18.

A fully waymarked sea to summit ultramarathon from Caernarfon Castle to Rhyd Ddu, covering 29 miles with about 5600 ft of ascent. Professional mountain safety and medical teams support runners and finisher medals form part of the Sea to Sum..

Trail race at Margam Country Park offering 5 km and 10 km routes through woodland with castle views. The event features chip timing, water stations, a finisher's medal and parking included with entry.

A fell race near Criggion covering 11.5 km with 790 m of ascent on a partially marked course that requires navigational skills. Entry is £8 and teams may enter free of charge.

October 2026

A seven hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park offering flexible lap-based distances, finisher medals and pins, aid stations with snacks and vegan options, goody bags and free parking.

A short fell race on Fan Fawr covering 3.2 km with 305 m of climb, requiring experience and navigational skills. Entry is on the day only for £2; minimum age over 16 and junior races to be confirmed.

An uphill only 10 km from Ruthin to the Jubilee Tower on Moel Famau, featuring mixed terrain and a summit finish above 550 m; transport back to town can be purchased on site.

Ras yr Aran is a 10 mile fell race with 3100 feet of ascent plus a junior 3.25 km race for ages 11 and over. The lower route is marked but the upper fells are unmarked and require navigation and mountain awareness.

A 32 mile trail through the Cambrian Mountains from Camp Plas near Dolanog, capped at 100 runners and fully marked with checkpoints and a 14 hour cut off. The weekend includes on-site camping, catering, live music and lakeside activities.

Experience a multi terrain race over Pen Dinas and Constitution Hill starting from the Aberystwyth Promenade. With distances for both seniors and juniors, runners face climbs on gravel, grass, and rocky paths with coastal views.

Trail races at Loggerheads Copuntry Park with a 6km loop, a 12km two-lap option and a 6km Canicross. Courses are marked and marshalled and entry fees range from £19 to £22.

A 7 hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park offering flexible distances from 3km up to 50km. The event includes themed medals, finishers' goody bags with a vegan option, aid stations, free parking and basic venue facilities.

Cadair X is a 13.1 mile mountain half marathon with 1165 m of ascent that climbs to the 893 m summit of Cadair Idris. The marked route crosses woodland, glacial lakes and technical summit terrain and a GPX file is available.

A *50 km* trail on the marked Brenig Way from Corwen to Llyn Brenig dam, with 1450 m ascent, varied upland and forest terrain, three checkpoints, required kit and GPS trackers provided.
