Raven 7
Raven 7 is a fell running event held around the Raven Inn, Llanarmon yn Ial, CH7 4QE (grid ref SJ 190562). The course is listed as 11.25 km (7 miles) with approximately 445 m (1,460 ft) of climb. The route is partially marked and runners should prepare for navigation on upland terrain.
The event is the second running of the King John's Castle replacement. Minimum entry age is over 18. Registration is held on the day, opening between 11:30 and 12:30, and entry on the day is charged at £5. Participants should allow about 15 minutes to walk from the pub to the race start; organisers request shared transport where possible.
Record times on the course from 2025 are 56:20 for the male category and 71:20 for the female category. The event is insured by the Welsh Fell Runners Association (WFRA).
