Trail Running calendar near Ruthin 2025-2026

Hoofstones Fell Race on 31 January 2026 in Todmorden is a challenging 12.9 km fell run with about 425 m of climb and technical navigation required. Finish and prizes at the Staff of Life pub where refreshments await.

Take on Dovedale Big Daddy, an FRA licensed fell race in the Peak District: 20.4 km with nine steep climbs across the Manifold and Dovedale valleys. Advance entry only; post race soup, cake and a hot drink for runners.

Take on the Wadsworth Trog on 7 February 2026, a classic 31 km fell challenge around Hebden Bridge with 1110 m of climb. Navigation is key on this non GPS route that rewards bold route finding and rugged determination.
