Trail Running calendar near Ganllwyd 2026-2027

A traditional Boxing Day fell event near Minsterley, Shropshire, with a 4.8 km course and 244 m of climb on a partially marked route. Modest entry fees apply and proceeds go to the Severn Hospice; walkers and families are welcome.

Navigate the terrain of Cannock Chase in this 27 km fell race starting from Milford Common. Participants must use navigation skills across a 540 m climb with full FRA kit required for the journey.

Night trail races at Rivington with reflective signage and required head torches, on rough, muddy terrain; options include a 10k and a half marathon.

The Holly Challenge on 23 January 2027 offers 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon on the lanes of Lightmoor Nature Reserve near Telford. Entries are limited to 50 places and all finishers receive a medal.

A point-to-point half marathon across the Llŷn Peninsula from Cwt Tatws to Aberdaron on 28 February 2027, chip timed with aid stations and optional coach transfer and T-shirt.

Ultra trail in Crickhowell on 6 March 2027 with 10, 20 and 40 mile routes, fully marked courses, GPX files and canicross friendly entries.
