The organiser provides a GPX file but gpx use is not allowed during the race. The full route expects winter experience: the full entry requires three AL races or equivalent unmarked winter experience; the half requires three AL/AM races or similar experience. Minimum mandatory kit includes fully taped waterproof top and bottom, two warm layers, long-sleeve base layer and full-length bottoms, hat and winter gloves, bivvy bag, map, compass, at least 0.5 litre water bottle, food and emergency food, torch, whistle and mobile phone. Entries open 2 October 2025 and close 21 January 2026. Entry fees are: solo whole £34.00, solo half £25.00, relay whole £50.00 and pair whole £68.00.
