North Wales Pilgrims Half Marathon 2026

The North Wales Pilgrims Half Marathon is scheduled for 1 March 2026. It is a 21km trail run that travels along the Pilgrim’s Trail on the Wales Coastal Path, starting from Cwt Tatws and finishing in Aberdaron.

Route and Terrain

The course has an ascent of 345 meters and a descent of 366 meters. The lowest point is at sea level (0 m), and the highest point is 81 meters. Approximately 44.9% of the distance is uphill, 41.5% downhill, and 13.3% flat. This event is the first part of the North Wales Pilgrims Challenge; participants who complete both this half marathon and the full marathon receive special recognition and are listed on the Pilgrims Honour Board.

Event Inclusions

The trail is fully marked and signed. On-route event support and aid stations are provided. There are no cut-off times for completion. At the finish, participants receive a Celtic medal, a gender-specific event T-shirt, and local food with warm drinks.

Participation and Entry
