Trail Running calendar near Conwy 2025-2026

Join the 50th Bullock Smithy Hike in Hazel Grove on 5 to 6 September 2026. This classic circular 56 miles challenge welcomes hikers and ultra runners for a scenic, rewarding weekend.

Tackle the wild Shropshire Hills at Carding Mill Valley with scenic 13.1 mile and 26.2 mile trail races through the Long Mynd. Well marked routes, aid stations and marshals make this a classic, challenging day out for trail runners.

Take on the Stretton Skyline, a scenic yet demanding 30.5 km fell race around Church Stretton with 1357 m of climb and panoramic Shropshire Hills views. Pre entry only, finishers enjoy a tasty goody bag.

Take on the Waddington Fell Race in Lancashire on Sunday 27 September 2026, a challenging 11.3 km course with 415 m climb across well marshalled upland terrain. Entry on the day at the Village Club with proceeds supporting Mountain Rescue.

A challenging 10 km uphill only race from Ruthin to the Jubilee Tower on Moel Famau, finishing above 550 m with sweeping hilltop views. Open to walkers and hill runners, it pairs a tough ascent with a memorable mountain finish.

Experience The Drop in Manchester: blindfolded participants are driven to a secret drop off and must navigate back on foot over 10 or 15 miles as the crow flies. No GPS allowed, live tracking keeps it safe and competitive.
