Loggerheads Half Marathon

The Loggerheads Half Marathon is a trail running event held at Loggerheads Country Park. This winter race takes place on a 7 km loop, which participants complete three times to reach the total distance. The course features a variety of gradients and terrain types throughout each lap.

The event offers two main ways to participate:

  • 21.1 km (Solo)
  • 21.1 km (Team Relay)

The solo category is open to individual runners who complete all three laps. The team relay option is designed for teams of three people where each member completes one 7 km lap. Changeovers for the relay occur at the end of each loop in the start and finish area.

The course is designed to be inclusive with a time limit of 3.5 hours for completion. Because the route is circular, runners pass the central event hub at the end of every lap. This area includes feed stations and spectator locations to support the participants. Facilities are available on-site at the country park, and all finishers receive a medal. The event is organized by Out Fit and serves as a winter addition to their existing trail series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
