The event is a full race chip timed event with instant results at the finish and both gun time and net time recorded; official placings are based on gun time. The course is a mix of path and trail, undulating, dog friendly, and generally OK for buggies although some sections may be bumpy or muddy. It is not suitable for wheelchairs. There are two road crossing sections on the route. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon is four laps plus an additional 1.1k section.

Registration and event hub are located in The Bowl; toilets are in the event hub. Participants receive a race number, chip, safety pins, a finisher headband and a MoRunning medal. Drinks and sweets are provided at the finish. Bag storage is available near registration under manned gazebos but space is limited. A fancy dress competition and spot prizes will take place before the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
