Trail Running calendar near Abergwyngregyn 2026-2027

Held in Porth Penrhyn, Bangor on 14-15 November 2026, Slate Trail Ultra offers two trail races of 147 km and 80 km along the Snowdonia Slate Trail with substantial elevation gain and organised aid stations.

A guided 55 km route on Anglesey visiting three high tops with over 2000 m of ascent, starting and finishing at Lligwy beach. The course is split into five supported sections with guides, checkpoints and a wooden medal on completion.

A 40 mile trail ultramarathon starting and finishing in Lymm that circumnavigates Warrington on tracks, paths and lanes. The 2026 race is on 14 November with solo, pair and four person relay entry options.

A 16.1 km fell race from Capelulo with about 594 m of ascent on partially marked terrain where navigation and experience are required. Entry is online only with a £12 fee and participants must be over 18.

A charity run at Stanley Park on 15 November 2026 supporting Breakthrough T1D. The 3.1 mile loop can be repeated for half marathon, marathon or ultra distances and finishers receive a bespoke medal.

A fell race on Sunday 15 November 2026 at Sunnyhurst Woods near Darwen covering about 6 km with 305 m of climb. The race is held in memory of David Staff and raises funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

An AS class fell race of 8 km with 762 m ascent near Little Stretton. The partly marked route climbs four steep valleys, requires navigational skills and full WFRA kit, and has very limited parking.

A community MoRunning event at Croxteth Park offering 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km and half marathon distances. The chip timed event supports Movember and includes medals, headbands, on-site facilities and prizes.

A 200 mile single-stage ultramarathon on the GM Ringway in Greater Manchester, held 21–25 November 2026. Limited to 150 places, with live tracking, 10 checkpoints, a 96 hour overall cut-off and mandatory kit and qualification requirements.

Manchester MoRun at Heaton Park on 22 November 2026 offers 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km and half marathon chip timed races, medals and family friendly facilities while supporting Movember and men’s health.

Trail races of 10K, 21K and 42K through Delamere Forest with marked routes and marshals. GPX files are provided and an event village offers food, drink and partner goodies at the finish.

The Kings Highway 15km Trail Race will take place in Altham on Sunday 22 November 2026. You can run 15 kilometers.

Tackle Kirkby Moor's classic BM fell race on Sat 28 Nov 2026, a 10.5 km route with 490 m of climb across stunning Lake District terrain. Entry on the day from Kirkby Community Centre, with team entries and season trophies at stake.

A timed multi-lap run along the River Mersey at Chorlton Water Park featuring 5.3 km laps, a 7 hour limit, a bespoke finisher's medal and a handmade knitted bee, with £2 from each entry donated to Ray's of Sunshine Children's Charity.

A half marathon at Loggerheads Country Park run as three 7 km loops. Solo and three-person relay options are offered and the event has a 3.5 hour cut off.

A trail 10 km loop through Marton Mere and past Blackpool Zoo on 29 November 2026, finishing in the grounds of the Village Hotel. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and refreshments are provided.

A time trial from Little Stretton to the Stiperstones with on the day entry and a finish to start bus. Navigational skills are required and entry fees are £8 per person with a reduced junior rate.

December 2026

Dash in the Dark Race 2 is a 6.4 km fell run with 229 m ascent at Llandegla Forest. A safety briefing is provided and a headtorch with at least two hours' lighting is compulsory.

The Snaefell and the Tholtans will take place in Snaefell on Saturday 5 December 2026. You can run 13 kilometers.

Trail races at Alyn Waters on 5 December 2026 include 5 km, 10 km and a canicross 5 km plus a free children's 1 km dash. Courses are fully marked and marshalled, chip timed and finishers receive a medal.
