Loch Thom Trail Race on Wednesday 3rd June features a revised 5K out and back and a junior 3K around Greenock Cut Visitor Centre, with all entry fees donated to Athletics Trust Scotland.

A 31 miles ultra around Loch Lyon and into Glen Lochay with about 3,500 ft of ascent. The mostly off road route includes several river crossings, multiple water checkpoints and mandatory kit requirements.

A Scottish Athletics affiliated *10 km* trail race in Killearn on 6 June 2026, run over mixed surfaces with about 310 ft of elevation. Entries include a technical t-shirt or vest and official bib transfers are allowed until 31 March 2026.

A 27 km mountain race along the Trotternish Ridge from Flodigary to Storr Lochs, with about 2000 m of ascent and unmarked navigation between checkpoints. Entries are limited and the event follows Scottish Hill Runners kit rules.

A mountain hill race in the Western Mamores covering about 13 km and 1300 m of ascent over two Munro summits. The unmarked, clockwise route starts and finishes near Lower Falls and requires mandatory mountain safety kit.

A 15.5 mile off road loop around Loch Lyon in the Perthshire hills with about 1,500 ft of ascent, multiple river crossings and a mid race water station. Camping is available at the dam the night before.

A community trail run of approximately 10k at Palacerigg Country Park, raising funds for Freedom City Foundation. The undulating route uses single track and forest paths, includes a shuttle from Greenfaulds Station, and is open to participa..

A trail race of about 8.4 miles through the West Highland Way and Mugdock Country Park, chip timed and fully marshalled, with a 300 runner limit. Proceeds support the 20th Glasgow Scout Group and finishers receive a medal and refreshments.

A three day ultra running challenge along the West Highland Way covering about 54 km, 42 km and 58 km on successive days. Small group format with overnight bag transfer and varied Highland scenery from Loch Lomond to Fort William.

An evening two-lap race in Linn Park on Glasgow's south side, covering just under 8 km and featuring the park waterfall and historic Halfpenny Bridge. The event is manually timed, supports the Friends of Linn Park, and has limited entry.

A 60 km mountain ultra at Mar Lodge in the Cairngorms National Park on 13 June 2026 with 1006 m ascent. A 48 km short course option is available and entries are limited.

A five hour lap challenge in Inverlael Forest near Ullapool where participants complete 3.6 km laps as individuals or teams; the event raises funds for Highland Hospice and awards medals to finishers.

A 20 km, 1000 m AL category hill race around the Slioch Horseshoe near Kinlochewe. The unmarked, pathless route uses ordered checkpoints; entries use pre-selection and require age 18+ plus prior AM hill-race experience.

A 5 kilometre Pretty Muddy obstacle event at Camperdown Park in Dundee on 14 June 2026, featuring muddy obstacles that involve climbing, crawling and sliding. Organised by Cancer Research UK with parking, toilets and refreshments on site.

A hill race at Ardgarten on 13 June 2026 covering 7 km with 700 m ascent; the route is flagged from the summit and runners must carry specific kit including waterproofs, map and whistle.

A 5.8 mile hill race in Reid Park, Forfar on 19 June 2026 with paths and trails over "Bummie". Entry is £5, post race bridies are provided and a vegetarian option is available.

A 96 mile ultra marathon along the West Highland Way from Milngavie to Fort William, with 14,760 ft of ascent and a 35 hour time limit. Entrants must be 20 or older, have motorised support and prior trail experience.

A 5.4 km hill race to the summit of The Law in Tillicoultry, featuring 630 metres of ascent, a marked walkers path and a same-route return. Part of the SHR and East District Championships with limited entries and mandatory kit requirements.

A 25 km, 2400 m ascent hill race around four Arrochar munros on 27 June 2026, requiring pre-entry and proven mountain race experience. The unmarked route demands navigation skills; compulsory mountain kit is checked at registration.

A 100 mile ultra starting and finishing in Forres, the Moray Way 100 follows the Moray Coastal Trail, Speyside Way and Dava Way through beaches, forests and clifftop paths. Entries are limited and the race has a 30 hour cutoff.
