Puggy Line Plod
Puggy Line Plod is a medium-distance race in the LAC Winter League 2026/2027, held at Nevis Range on 17 January 2027. It is classified as Medium (6 to 9 miles) under the league distance categories.
The race is one of ten events that make up the Winter League. League rules require competitors to keep the age category they start the league in, and juniors aged 16 and 17 may only compete in short and medium races, which includes this event. Participants use the race number issued at their first league race throughout the season.
Entry fees at this race differ by membership: Scottish Athletics members pay £3, while non-Scottish Athletics members pay £5 for this specific event. The Winter League runs in winter conditions, so participants are expected to carry or wear suitable clothing and equipment and accept responsibility for their involvement. Organisers may require full body cover for short and medium races when conditions warrant; full body cover is mandatory for long races.
Results for league races are posted by the club after each event. Where a race is affected by bad weather or similar circumstances, an alternative route may be used and decisions about route issues are handled by the club committee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
