Trail Running calendar near West Yorkshire 2026-2027

Experience a flat trail run through the Fox Rush Farm Community Woodland with 3k and 5k options. Enjoy chip timed races on established paths organized by New Marske Harriers and receive a burger and medal at the finish.

A series entry for three 5.5 km races through Happy Valley, Bramhall on 3 June, 1 July and 5 August 2026. Entries are limited to 250 per race, proceeds support Stockport Foodbank and UK Athletics members receive a discount.

An evening pop-up run in Bingley along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, passing the Bingley Five Rise Locks. Two distances are offered, with on-the-night registration and a cash only policy; runners receive a medal and a drink.

A five mile hilly fell race around Kettlewell with grassy tracks, climbs and fast descents. Entry is limited to 100 and fees are £6 for EA affiliated runners and £8 for non affiliated runners.

A 5.3 mile fell race with 1099 ft of ascent around Rivington Hall Barn grounds, featuring road, rough trail and open moor. Entry on the day is available for a cash fee and FRA kit rules apply.

Deestriders ORGP Race 1 is a multi terrain, approximately four mile race on 4 June 2026 at Care & Repair NE Wales in Shotton. Entry is £10 or £8 for affiliated club members and the field is limited to 200.

Stickle Grind 650 is a 2.4 km uphill race with 650 m of ascent to the summit of Harrison Stickle at Lanty Slees Stickle Barn on 5 June 2026. Entry fee is £25 and minimum age is 16.

A 3.6 km off-road trail around the grounds of Sledmere House presented alongside the Sledmere Sunset Trail 10K. Chip timing and a finisher medal are provided; a free 500 m fun run is available for young children.

A 38 km skyrunning event in the Central Lake District with 2800 m ascent on technical single track and scree, summiting England's highest mountain. Entries require runners aged 19 or older and a competency attestation.

A trail event from Otley with 50 km ultra, 25 km super and 16 km sprint options on public footpaths, marked routes, manned checkpoints on some distances and mandatory kit requirements.

A 21 km technical valley trail in Great Langdale with 850 m of ascent, based at Lanty Slees Stickle Barn on 6 June 2026. The event includes fully marked trails, a manned checkpoint and a recycled paper mache medal.

A range of supported trail distances based at Kendal including a 100 km loop through Garburn Pass, Ambleside and alongside Lake Windermere. The event features covered rest stops, GPS tracking, medical teams, camping options and finishers me..

A trail running event at Guisborough Rugby Club offering 40 km and 60 km options plus a 60 km relay. Profits are donated to Teesside Samaritans and the routes were updated from 2025.

A 24 hour, 50 miles linear route from Marsden to Ilkley with over 6600 ft of ascent. The course visits six Stanza Stones inscribed with poems by Simon Armitage and crosses South Pennines moorland including Haworth and Ilkley Moor.

An inflatable obstacle-course fun run in Lincoln on 6 June 2026 with lap options of 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k, music zones and multiple inflatable obstacles. Family, group and charity discounts are available, plus volunteer benefits.

The National Forest Way Ultra will take place in Burton upon Trent on Saturday 6 June 2026.

A mountain fell race around Pen y Ghent on 6 June 2026, covering 12.2 km with 500 m of ascent. The event follows marked paths and the Pennine Way, is run under FRA rules, and requires full mandatory kit with a 350 runner limit.

A flagged 13.2 mile trail race on 6 June 2026 around Threshfield in the Yorkshire Dales, featuring over 2,000 feet of ascent and more than £800 in prizes. The event follows established footpaths and uses SPORTident timing.

Trail running around Coniston Water from Coniston Sports and Social Club, with marked, marshalled courses of 10 km and 16 km. The event village offers food, live music and on-course water stations while medics and marshals provide support.

A 50 mile linear ultramarathon across the South Pennines from Marsden to Ilkley that visits six carved Stanza Stones and passes through Haworth. The route features high moorland and valley sections with live tracking and indoor checkpoints.
