Trail Running calendar near Sutton Bank 2025-2026

Lee Mill Relays on 30 November 2025 in Rossendale is a tough team relay for four around the rugged Lee Mill Quarry, each leg a flagged wintry 10.7 km loop. Expect climbs, kit checks and a true fell running challenge.

Tackle the classic Famous Grouse Fell Race in the Peak District on Sunday 30 November 2025, a sharp 8.4 km route with 335 m of climb around Birch Vale. Entry on the day, limited field for a proper fell race atmosphere.

The Drop Kendal drops solo runners or teams at an unknown location blindfolded and challenges them to find their way back to base in Kendal. Choose 10 or 15 mile routes for a map free test of navigation and stamina.

Take on Rudolph's Romp, a scenic 25 mile route across the Yorkshire Wolds with sweeping views of the Vale of York and the Humber. Organised by LDWA East Yorkshire on 6 December 2025.

Take on the Really Wild Boar fell race on Sat 6 Dec 2025 in the York Dales, a 9 km challenge with 450 m of climb through classic fell terrain. On the day entry is £10 and includes soup and a roll. Register at the Fat Lamb Country Inn.

The Mytholmroyd Fell Race on Sunday 7 December 2025 offers a tough 6 mile route with 500 m ascent across classic Pennine terrain near Hebden Bridge. Pre entry and full FRA kit are required.

Join the WILD DEER running session at Land of Oak & Iron on 7 December 2025 for a 75 minute coached workout suitable for all abilities. Expect interval work, hill efforts and varied running over 5 to 7 miles with a friendly group vibe.

Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl on 7 December 2025 in Grizedale Forest offers scenic 5K and 10K runs on forest roads and trails with views over Coniston Water. Chip timed and dog friendly with up to two dogs per runner, event is full.

Moors The Merrier 21 is a festive 21 mile circular moorland run from Hebden Bridge with roughly 3,900 ft of ascent, testing navigation and stamina across open moors. Pre entry only and fully supported with checkpoints and a hot finish meal.
