DalesRunner 20 takes place on 28 March 2026 around Reeth and Arkengarthdale Moor, with the event base at Low Fremington Village Hall in Reeth, North Yorkshire. The course is described as very hilly and mostly single track, with a very steep first ascent and several technical descents, including sections through mining hushes. Race details

Entrant numbers are limited to 200. Entry fees are listed as £24 (affiliated) and £26 (unaffiliated); each fee includes a £1 donation to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The event enforces mandatory kit: taped-seam waterproof jacket and trousers, hat or buff, gloves, emergency blanket or bivvy bag, a cup or soft flask, and a fully charged mobile phone. Organisers may perform kit checks and disqualify competitors who do not carry the required items. Toilets will be available at the village hall and as portable units at the start/parking field. Parking is provided in a nearby working field that may be muddy. Aid stations will supply water, Active Root sports nutrition, sweet and savoury food and electrolyte tablets; plastic cups are not used so competitors should carry their own soft flask or cup.
