An evening team relay at Derwenthaugh Country Park on 16 July, run by Derwent Valley Running Club. Teams of three, age 16 plus, must include at least one male and one female; entry is £18 per team and parking is limited.

A 26 km trail Metric Marathon starting and finishing in Hebden Bridge, running out to Stoodley Pike and back. The course is waymarked with marshals, a halfway checkpoint, a water station at the turnaround and baggage storage; all finishers..

A 10 km trail race at Northumberlandia that uses the landform and surrounding countryside. The event also includes a one mile children's fun run, a water station, a bespoke finisher medal and an event village.

A mountain race from Ingleton to the summit of Ingleborough, about 11 km with 600 m ascent, held during Ingleton Gala day on 18 July 2026. The race follows a public footpath, runs under FRA rules, and requires mandatory kit.

A 50 mile, 5,500 ft circuit of the Yorkshire Dales with an ascent of Great Shunner Fell and a 22 hour completion limit, starting and finishing at Harmby Village Hall and passing through Wensleydale and Swaledale.

Overnight running around Wath Manvers Lake on a flat 3.21 mile circuit, with participants completing as many laps as possible in a 12 hour period. Clubhouse facilities and on site camping are available.

A 36 miles trail-centred route from Clitheroe Castle to Lancaster Castle on 18 July 2026, with chip timing, live tracking and six checkpoints. Pre-entry required, entry closes 12 July, and the maximum completion time is 10 hours.

A short fell race near Cracoe on Sunday 19 July 2026 covering 2.60 miles with about 900 feet of climb. The route crosses fields, includes a trailer and a wall to climb, rough ground and a final steep ascent.

A single lap, predominantly flat *10 km* multi terrain race along the River Ouse and through Hook in Goole on 19 July 2026. Chip timed with on course marshals, a finisher medal, optional bicentennial T shirt and prizes.

A trail half marathon around Bowes on the Pennine Way with varied terrain across moorland, reservoir and fields. Limited parking, bag drop at the village hall, mandatory kit and water top-ups only in reusable bottles.

Tackle the rugged Bowland slopes at the Hapton Fell Race, a challenging 5 miles with about 400 m of climb near Burnley. Day of entry makes it ideal for last minute plans and friendly club rivalry.

Flat two lap 5 mile trail race through Ashington Community Woods on 21 July 2026, with a 125 place limit and entry fees of £14 affiliated or £16 unaffiliated; £1 per entry supports Friends of the Woods.

Join the Ravenscar Rumble revisited, a scenic fell race in Ravenscar on Wed 22 Jul 2026 covering 10 km with 250 m of climb through the North York Moors. Tea rooms stay open for post run treats and entry is on the day only.

Tackle a classic Peak District fell run from Glossop Rugby Club up to The Nab, a challenging 4 miles with 365 m of climbing and great views. Open to runners 16 and over with pre entry and on the day entry and team places available.

Evening trail races at Aske Hall in North Yorkshire offer 5 km and 10 km single loop courses through parkland, pasture and woodland. The course can be uneven or muddy, trail shoes are recommended and poles are banned.

A trail event at Aske Hall on 23 July 2026 with 5 km and 10 km course options across parkland and woodland, fully marked routes, finishers food options and an optional coaster-medal.

Evening pop up races at Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve on 23 July 2026 feature 5k and 10k routes, on site parking, food and a finisher jumble medal. Payment is accepted on the day or online.

A midweek trail 10 km around Clowbridge Reservoir and the Pennine Bridleway with 175 m of climb. Entries via SiEntries, fee £10 and minimum age 15; marked course and spot prizes at the Sailing Club.

A single lap 10 kilometre trail race around RSPB St Aidan's Country Park in Swillington, Leeds, on public footpaths and bridleways. Entry is limited to 300 runners and basic facilities include water stations and toilets.
