Trail Running calendar near Much Wenlock 2026-2027

A Category AS fell race in Darwen on 23 June 2026 covering 4 miles 6.4 km with 350 m ascent and three climbs including Aggies Staircase. Organised by Darwen Dashers and held under FRA rules; entries open 1 January and close 22 June.

Night Sugar is a summer evening fell race on Sugar Loaf near Llanwenarth with a 5.5 miles route and about 1,150 ft of ascent. Entry is limited to 140 via Fabian4, fee £7, age limit over 18, and chip timing is used.

Skyline Wales is a long linear 102 km event with 4663 m of climb from Barmouth to Llandegla One Planet. Navigation and significant experience are required, entries are limited and there are strict time cut-offs.

A new hill race at the Tintern Village Fete covering 4.2 km with 215 m ascent. The route starts and finishes in the fete field, climbs via a stone staircase and forestry road, and returns along the Shorncliff Climbers Path.
