Trail Running calendar near Minley 2026-2027

A single stage 200 mile trail run around the South of England from Juniper Hall, held 9 to 13 December 2026. Runners have 96 hours, live tracking is provided, and three major aid stations offer crew access, food and sleeping facilities.

Join the Christmas Jumper Friday Run on 11 December in Walton on Thames for a relaxed rock up and run along the riverside towpath. Pick 5k to ultra, run laps within a 7 hour window and earn a bespoke finisher medal.

A festive midweek time challenge on the River Thames with flexible starts and distances from a 3 km minimum up to 50 km. Medals, distance pins and goody bags are provided, with aid stations and a mix of path and light trail surfaces.

A 100 mile continuous point to point trail run across the South of England from Amberley Museum to Juniper Hall near Box Hill. Runners have up to 35 hours with live tracking and crew access at three checkpoints.

A timed trail event in the Forest of Bere featuring a 3.28 mile lap and distance options from 5 km to ultra. Aid station serves sweet and savoury food including potatoes and vegan choices, and 20% of proceeds support Forestry England.

Join the Mince Pi Run in Guildford for a Pi themed run by the water, with distances from a 1 mile kids fun run to the 3.14 mile loop and laps up to a Pi marathon. Every finisher gets a bespoke Pi Pie medal.

Chilly Hilly is a 10 mile cross country run in the West Wight on 13 December 2026, noted for hilly coastal terrain, strong winds at times and scenic views. Entry is limited and a memento and post-race refreshments are offered.

Join a festive Christmas run along the flat Jubilee River. Choose your own distance in this 6-hour timed event on a scenic towpath. All finishers receive a bespoke festive medal.

A festive cross country event in Pett, East Sussex on 19 December 2026 with a five mile loop, a two mile fun run and a junior scurry. The race supports Shelter and includes medals, photos and prizes for fancy dress.

A dawn to dusk winter trail challenge at Box Hill, Dorking on 19 December 2026. Runners complete 10 mile loops with about 2,400 ft climb per lap and may stop after any full loop; entry includes insurance and aid stations.

A level 19 km trail race along a converted Somerset and Dorset railway through the Stour valley, with route markers, two aid stations, a canicross option, parking and post-race refreshments.

A 50 km winter trail event on the North Downs Way from Detling to Wye with about 1,000 m of ascent, three checkpoints and mandatory kit checks. The route passes Boxley Warren, Thurnham Castle, Lenham Cross and the Wye Downs.

Festive trail runs at Wendover Woods on 20 December 2026, with a Family Santa Mile and 5- and 10-mile races; finishers receive medals and seasonal treats. Entry fees range from £14 to £29.

A lakeside Christmas event in Milton Keynes offering marathon and half marathon options with 7½ and 3½ clockwise laps of Caldecotte Lake. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and the event is held under 100 Marathon Club rules.

A Christmas Eve trail 10 km at Renegade Brewery in Yattendon that includes a medal, a pint cup with a free drink and a mince pie. Canicross entry is available and the event raises funds for Newbury Riding for the Disabled and PALS.

A cupless charity run across vineyard trails at Rathfinny Wine Estate, featuring two 5 km loops, limited to 75 local runners; part of each entry fee supports the WOLO Foundation and basic facilities are provided at Race HQ.

Winter X is a mid-winter trail-running event in the Meon Valley offering 10, 30, 50 and 70 km on marked public trails with checkpoints and post-event food. Entries for 2025 are closed; a provisional date for 2026 is 28 December 2026.

A year-end cross-country event at Butlers Lands Farm featuring water crossings, Roman walls, fields and footpaths. Two routes are offered and entry includes a medal, engraved iTAB, free photos and chip timing.
