Riverbank Rollick

Riverbank Rollick is an off road run covering 9.6 miles on trails, bridle paths, across fields, through woodland, through a stream and along a riverbank. About 80 percent of the course is off road, and being held in January this often involves muddy conditions.

Entries are available only through Full on Sport and there are no on the day entries. The minimum age is 18 years. The event uses a mass start with gun to chip timing. Organisers expect an approximate run time limit of 2.5 hours and will review progress at the Littleton water station; participants may be asked to withdraw and will be transported back to the Race HQ if required.

Race HQ is at the New Sports Hall, Castle School, Park Road, Thornbury BS35 1H. Parking at the school is on a first come, first served basis and there are public car parks in Thornbury. Race number collection and refreshments are provided in the school sports hall; the club does not accept responsibility for missing or damaged items left in bags there. Runners are escorted to the start, which is a short walk from the school. There is one water station at Littleton upon Severn, approximately 5.8 miles from the start.

The event offers individual prizes across 16 main categories and holds ARC permit number ARC/25/0048. The organisers publish a route map and operate a sustainability pledge that encourages car sharing, reusable bottles, compostable cups, recycling of race numbers and medals made from FSC wood.
