Moors Valley Wildwood Trail Series Half Marathon & 10K
The Moors Valley Wildwood Trail Series Half Marathon & 10K takes place on Sunday 25 January 2026 at Moors Valley Country Park & Forest, Horton Road, Ashley Heath, Ringwood, BH24 2ET, Great Britain. Two route options are offered:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10K - 10.6 km
The half marathon is run as two laps of the trail; the 10K is one lap.
Course, services and practical details
Both routes follow trail and gravel paths through woodland. The course includes wet or muddy sections, some steep inclines, and opportunities to see local wildlife such as deer and birds of prey. The event is fully marked and includes aid stations, marshalls on route, chip timing, and online results. Event photography is provided and finishers receive an eco-friendly wooden medal.
The event is dog friendly with limited canicross places; entrants must select the canicross option when entering. Age limits apply: participants must be 15 or older for the 10K and 17 or older for the half marathon. Parking is available at Moors Valley Country Park and is payable. Entry fees listed in the event information are from £37 for the half marathon and from £27 for the 10K, plus a small booking fee. The organiser is BCS Events.
