Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run (QECP)

The event is based at Queen Elizabeth Country Park on the South Downs in Hampshire. Routes use the park's hard packed off road trail network and nearby tracks, passing through ancient woodland at Head Down, joining sections of the South Downs Way, and returning via the Milky Way. All routes also explore War Down with tree lined gravel tracks and a mix of woodland paths and open trails that offer varied surfaces and views.

Distances offered:

  • 21.6 km half marathon route
  • 15.2 km trail run
  • 7.9 km trail run

Entries include timing with chip timing, a metal finisher medal, a finisher goodie and drink, a personalised certificate, first aid cover, on course refreshments and water stations. Races are signed with pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. One dog is permitted per runner and canicross options are offered for each distance. Runners collect bib numbers at registration and are asked to use a reusable cup or bottle as the event operates plastic free. Parking at the venue is charged at £3 per car. The course features rolling hills and mixed off road terrain with tree lined sections and open viewpoints. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
