Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run

The Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run takes place in a large country park situated on the South Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located on the A3 south of Petersfield in Hampshire, the event utilizes a network of hard-packed off-road trails. The course consists of three different route options that explore various woodland and hill areas.

Participants start and finish within the park, heading out to run through the ancient woodland at Head Down. The routes then reach the South Downs Way before looping back toward the park via a local trail known as the Milky Way. All three distances eventually combine to explore the War Down section of the park, which features tree-lined gravel tracks designed to be weather resistant.

The terrain varies throughout the event, offering a mix of sturdy trails and multiple types of off-road surfaces. The event is open to runners of different experience levels and does not require specific qualifications. At the finish line, participants receive a medal, a drink, and various finisher items.
