Event overview
The Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run is a multi-distance trail event held at Queen Elizabeth Country Park on the South Downs in Horndean, Hampshire (Gravel Hill, PO8 0QE). Routes start and finish in the country park and use hard-packed off-road trails, ancient woodland at Head Down, sections of the South Downs Way, the Milky Way trail and War Down gravel tracks. The event offers three distances:

- 15.2 km
- 7.9 km
Each distance has recorded elevation gain: +424 m for 21.6 km, +328 m for 15.2 km and +161 m for 7.9 km. Course marking uses pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. Water stations and on-course first aid support are provided. Chip timing, a bib number, a finisher medal, personalised certificate and finisher goodies are included.
Practical information
The event is dog friendly with a limit of one dog per runner; organisers advise bringing poo bags, water, treats and an appropriate dog lead. The event operates a plastic-free policy and asks participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle for water stations. Parking is charged at £3 per car. Spectators are welcome.
