Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run (QECP)

The event is based at Queen Elizabeth Country Park in the South Downs, near Petersfield, Hampshire. The route uses the park's hardpacked off-road trail network and passes through several named sections of the local trail system.

Runners go out of the park into ancient woodland at Head Down, then reach the South Downs Way before looping back via the local trail called the Milky Way. Within the park the routes combine to cover War Down, which features tree-lined gravel tracks. The course covers multiple terrains and includes a variety of views across the South Downs.

The event offers three measured route lengths and chip timing. Participants receive a metal finisher medal, a finisher goodie and a refreshing drink, plus a personalised certificate. The course is fully signed using pink arrows and pink tape, and hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. First aid cover and course marshals are provided, and there are on-course water stations and event photography. The organiser operates a plastic-free policy for refillable cups or bottles. Parking is charged at £3 per car. One dog is allowed per runner and canicross entries are included among the route options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
