Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run (QECP), Hampshire
The event is based at Queen Elizabeth Country Park on the South Downs near Petersfield. The route uses the park's hard-packed off-road trail network and nearby South Downs trails.
Runners leave the park and pass through the ancient woodland at Head Down before joining the South Downs Way. Both longer routes return to the park via the local trail known as the Milky Way. Inside the park all routes combine to run across War Down on tree-lined gravel tracks. The course includes a variety of terrains and notable views.
Three route lengths are offered:
- 21.6k Half Marathon
- 15.2k Trail Run
- 7.9k Trail Run
Entries include chip timing, a high-quality metal finisher medal, a personalised certificate, on-course refreshments and water stations, first aid cover, and marshals. The event operates a plastic-free policy and requests participants bring a reusable cup or bottle. Race signage uses pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. One dog is allowed per runner; participants running with dogs are advised to bring poo bags, water, treats and an appropriate lead. Bibs are collected on arrival at registration and should be displayed on the front of the runner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
