Surrey Slog Half Marathon and 10 mile Challenge 2026

The Surrey Slog is a trail running event held on 19 July 2026 with race headquarters at the Duke of Kent School, Peaslake, Cranleigh GU6 7NS. The course is a hilly, undulating multi loop cross country route mainly on tracks around Holmbury Hill. The route crosses itself at some points and is marked with signs and arrows. Key junctions will be marshalled.

There are six drink points along the route and additional drinks at the finish. First aid support will be available. Free car parking is provided at the start and finish.

The event is open to anyone aged 17 or over on the day and is held under an Association of Running Clubs licence, 26/0442. All finishers receive a bespoke commemorative medal.

Entries open on 5 March 2026 and advanced entries close on 16 July 2026. Entry fees are listed as affiliated £25 and non affiliated £27. A 10 mile option is available and can be chosen on the day for the same fee as the half marathon. On the day entries are available at £30, cash only. A point to point 50 km ultramarathon from Horsham to Brighton seafront on 9 May 2026, featuring multi terrain trails, four feed stations and a 9.5 hour cut off. Individual and two runner relay entries are offered with team prizes.

An inflatable obstacle-course event at Stoke Park, Guildford on 9 May 2026 offering 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k lap options with large inflatables, music zones, a finisher medal and family and charity entry choices.

Test your endurance at Stanmer Park by completing 4.167 miles every hour until only one runner remains. This out and back course offers a personal challenge with support facilities and refreshments for all participants.

Riverside lapped races from Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club near Runnymede, with 10 km, half marathon and marathon options along the Thames Path. The marked route includes marshals, a bespoke finisher medal and podium prizes.
