July 2026

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

A mountain fell race from Ribblehead to the top of Whernside, about 10.5 km with 468 m of ascent. The route starts beneath Ribblehead Viaduct and follows the main Three Peaks walkers route, and it is held under FRA rules with mandatory kit.

Take on the Hope Wakes Fell Race on 1 July 2026: a scenic 9.5 km Peak District route with 458 m of climb, starting and finishing at Hope Sportsfield. On the day entry is £8 and all profits go to local charities.

A guided trail running weekend in the Peak District with bunkhouse accommodation, a 23 mile Edale Skyline route and an optional 10 km loop the next day. The terrain is rugged and a good level of fitness is required.
