The Inflatable 5K in Newcastle is an outdoor obstacle course built from large inflatable structures, including slides and tunnels. The course is organised as repeating laps of a 2.5k loop, with lively music zones placed around the route.

Distance options are:

• 2.5k one lap, 15 obstacles
• 5k two laps, 30 obstacles
• 10k four laps, 60 obstacles
• 15k six laps, 90 obstacles

The 5k distance includes three additional obstacles compared with previous editions and five music zones along the course. Every participant receives a finisher's medal, a goodie bag and a post run drink. Event services listed include medical cover, event photography, a clearly marked route, an on course hydration station and toilets. Spectators have a free designated viewing area.
