Trail Running calendar near Little Haywood 2026-2027

A Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Braunstone Park on 15 May 2027 combining grass and path with climbs, crawls and slides. Waves start every 15 minutes, participants must be 13 or older and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.

The Four Farms Challenge will take place in Deddington on Sunday 16 May 2027. You can run between 5 and 20 kilometers.

A trail running event on Saturday 29 May 2027 that follows the Heart of Wales Trail from Llandrindod Wells to Craven Arms, with three distances of 48, 24 and 16 miles and waymarking along the route.

A Star Wars 50th Anniversary weekend on 5 and 6 June 2027 at Caldecotte, Milton Keynes featuring marathon and half marathon races around Caldecotte Lake, unique finisher medals, on-course water and toilets, and time limits for each race.

A 24 hour trail challenge in Edale on a fixed half marathon loop (23.3 km, 977 m ascent per loop). Runners repeat the loop after an initial clockwise lap, self-manage transitions and entry is limited to 50 participants.

A four day running festival in Tameside, Oldham and Glossop on 17 June 2027. It features four consecutive runs across country parks, moorland and town streets, with distances from a 10 km trail to a half marathon and a 7 mile town race.

A hilly six mile fell race on Friday 18 June 2027 starting in Stalybridge and running up to the Trigg point on Hobson Moor. It is the second event in The Tour and lists single event and Tour entry options.

A midsummer trail event in Hebden Bridge offering two 50k routes in Lancashire or Yorkshire or a figure of eight 100k that links both routes and crosses moorland, parkland and several towns.

An 8 hour looped event at Lyme Park where runners cover as many 5 km laps as they can. The mixed terrain course features a single aid station, chip timed laps, a bag drop and a strict 8 hour cut off.

A point to point half marathon along canal towpaths from Wolverhampton to Brindley Place in Birmingham, featuring a 360 metre tunnel, time trial wave starts and floating drink stations every 3 miles.

A ten hour loop race at Mynydd Troed on 10 July 2027 where competitors run repeated 2.7 mile laps with over 1000 feet of ascent per lap. Solo, pair, and teams of four compete with laps recorded at clip stations.

An eight hour loop event at Rivington Pike where participants run as many 5 km laps as they can on mixed road and trail terrain with about 204 m elevation per lap. Results list laps completed, total distance and elapsed time.

A supported 100 mile ultramarathon in the United Kingdom, Cheshire Ring Ultra 100 Mile is scheduled for 25 and 26 September 2027 and is part of the Ultra Great Britain Race Series with live GPS tracking.

An 11 km fell race on Burley Moor with 250 m of climb in Burley-in-Wharfedale on 6 November 2027. Open to adults 18 and over with pre-entry and on-the-day entry; team and junior entries are not included.

An overnight Pendle Way trail event from Barley, Lancashire offering a 45 mile loop or a 30 mile option, with required navigation and mandatory kit; minimum age 18 and entries open through June 2028.

A single-day ultra of about 35.5 miles from Wigan to Tarporley, run as Day 4 of the MTC ALBION end to end series. Field is limited and the race enforces a 4.0 mph minimum pace; navigation, tracking and mandatory kit are required.
