The MTC Blue Caps is a 36-mile ultra marathon held in England, starting from Wigan and finishing at The Swan in Tarporley. It forms Day 4 of the 13-day Mount to Coast Albion End to End Challenge, which covers 503 miles across England. The route follows the same path as the MTC JOGLE race but with shorter daily distances.

The race features a challenging course with approximately 1,558 feet of ascent and 1,549 feet of descent. Competitors must maintain a minimum pace of 4 mph and carry mandatory gear including navigation tools and safety equipment.
