Trail Running calendar near Great Ponton 2026-2027

Rumble In The Jumble V is a six hour challenge in Penistone with out-and-back laps along an old railway line, offering distances from 5K to ultra. Aid stations, a choice of medals and a goody bag are provided.

Two fell races in Hayfield on 5 September 2026 offering a 24.5 km route with 1270 m climb and a 16 km route with 675 m climb.

A 24 hour, 56 mile unmarked circular hike and ultra run in the Peak District starting and finishing in Hazel Grove on 5 to 6 September 2026 with checkpoint support.

A fell race in Edale where teams carry a barrel across the moor alongside individual and children's races, with proceeds supporting local primary schools.

Backyard Ultra at Hardwick Hall Estate on 5 September 2026 where runners repeat a 4.16 mile loop each hour until only one remains, with on course aid and support.

A 7.1 km fell race across Longshaw Estate and Grindleford Valley held alongside the Longshaw Sheepdog Trials with FRA rules and included trial access.
