Dirt Run Winter Trail Series
The Dirt Run Winter Trail Series is a two-race trail running series in Northamptonshire, held across two country parks in January and February 2027. The events use multi-terrain routes with trails, climbs and muddy sections, and offer several standard distances across the two rounds.
Round 1 takes place at Irchester Country Park and is presented in an uphill format that runs in the opposite direction to 2025. The course passes through a Jurassic landscape and 10K and 15K runners follow an additional trail section on later laps. All runners in Round 1 start together. It is possible to switch distance on the day; upgrades require cash payment.
Round 2 is at Brigstock Country Park and includes an out-and-back loop plus an extended route that passes Lyveden New Bield, an Elizabethan lodge on the route.

Entry fees are listed per distance and round: 5K £19.00, 7.5K £21.50, 10K £24.00, 15K £26.00. Each round awards a custom finisher medal with a different design and a ribbon colour indicating distance. Toilets and parking are available at both venues; check park websites for current charges.
