Dirt Run Irchester Country Park - Round 1
Round 1 of the Dirt Run Winter Trail Series takes place at Irchester Country Park on Sunday 24 January 2027. The event uses an uphill format and the course runs in the opposite direction to 2025.
The route is multi terrain through a Jurassic landscape with trails, climbs and mud. For 10K and 15K runners an additional trail section is included on later laps to add variety.
Distances for Round 1
- 5K : 1 lap
- 10K : 2 laps
- 15K : 3 laps
All runners start together. Runners may switch distance on the day by speaking to the registration team; upgrades require cash payment.
Entry fees for the series include: 5K £19.00 (Round 1 only), 10K £24.00 (Round 1 only), 7.5K £21.50 (Round 2 only), and 15K £26.00.
Practical information and facilities are provided at both venues. Trail shoes are strongly recommended. Each round awards a custom finisher medal with a different design and a ribbon colour indicating distance. Toilets and parking are available at the country parks.
