Rowbotham's Round Rotherham is a long distance trail event around South Yorkshire with solo and relay options over 80 km or 50 miles. The undulating route includes about 800 m of climb and is based at the Manvers Waterfront Boat Club.

A tenth anniversary five mile chip timed cross country and Canicross event in the Upper Wreake valley with village hall race HQ, parking on Church Field, prize categories and a commemorative wooden medal for finishers.

A two-route event from Buxton Community School into the western Peak District, with long and short courses via Axe Edge and the Goyt Valley. Checkpoints provide refreshments and a hot meal is served at the finish.

A 15.2 km fell race in the Peak District with 490 m of climb, held at Curbar Primary School on 3 October 2026. Pre-entry is required and proceeds go to Curbar Primary School.

A coastal off road race from Peasholm Park in Scarborough along the historic Cinder Track. Distances from 5K to marathon, water stations about every 3 miles, on the day bib collection and a Grim Bling finisher medal.

Wild Run Cotswolds showcases rugged off road trails on a private estate with fully marked routes, chip timing and a family friendly supporter zone. Entries are limited to 600; choose 10K, half, marathon or the six hour 360 challenge.

An uphill only 10 km from Ruthin to the Jubilee Tower on Moel Famau, featuring mixed terrain and a summit finish above 550 m; transport back to town can be purchased on site.

A club organised 12 km fell race with about 490 m of ascent around Old Town, Hebden Bridge, including a flagged section through the private Castle Carr estate. Pre-entry is required and strict FRA kit rules apply.

A cross country race around Thorpe in the Dovedale valleys, featuring a 4 3/4 mile route with a river crossing at the Stepping Stones. A 1 1/4 mile Mini Dash is held for under 12s with U12 and U9 categories.

A junior fell running race in the Pennines for ages 6 and up. The 2 km course starts near a classic pub. Entry is available on the day.

A traffic free one lap 5K through Roundhay Park that passes the lake and climbs to the Mansion House. Entries are limited to 300, chip timing is provided and finishers receive medals and individual prizes.

MacTuffX Brierley Hill on 4 October 2026 is a functional fitness race in Brierley Hill, West Midlands featuring ten Xercises with repeated runs, plus solo, doubles, and five-person relay options and a LITE weight division.

Castle Carr is a 24 km fell race in the South/West Pennines near Hebden Bridge on 4 October 2026, with about 1200 m of ascent and official FRA permit and insurance.

A six hour multi-lap off road event at Sence Valley Forest Park where participants complete 3.3 mile laps at their own pace, with canicross allowed and options for a medal or tree token.

A trail event at Cuerden Valley Park on Friday 9 October 2026 where runners complete repeated 5k laps within a six hour limit. Finishers receive an official time and a bespoke medal.

An inflatable obstacle event in Cheltenham on 10 October 2026 offering 2.5k to 15k routes, music zones, a non timed format and a finisher's medal. Family and group options, on course water, medical cover and on site vendors.

A 32 mile trail through the Cambrian Mountains from Camp Plas near Dolanog, capped at 100 runners and fully marked with checkpoints and a 14 hour cut off. The weekend includes on-site camping, catering, live music and lakeside activities.

A circular 55 km trail ultra in the Forest of Dean using a GPX navigation route. The course mixes technical single track, riverside sections and viewpoints, includes on-course aid stations and a canicross category.

Tideswell Terminator is a Peak District fell race on 10 October 2026, covering 9.1 km with 283 m of climb across scenic hills. Pre entry only, age 18 plus, this short course is a bracing test for fell runners.

A 13.1 mile trail race around Drone Valley Brewery in Unstone with varied terrain, about 1,700 feet of ascent, one halfway aid station, a finisher medal and a voucher for a pint or non alcoholic drink.
