Join the Saint Michael's Harrogate 10K & 5K on 1 March 2026 for a scenic trail run supporting North Yorkshire Hospice Care. Limited to 1,000 places, family friendly 5K entries are free for ages 6 to 15 when accompanied by an adult.

Run under starry skies in the Trail Outlaws Dark Skies Run series, with night trail races at Kielder Waterside and other certified Dark Sky areas. Choose from ultra, mid distance and 10K options for a magical night on the trails.

The Stan Bradshaw Pendle Round on Sat 7 Mar 2026 is a classic fell race around Pendle offering Pennine ridges and wide views. About 9.4 miles with 545 m of climb, pre entries and day entries are welcome for a rewarding spring challenge.

Challenging trail ultra around Morland covering about 29 miles and 3,000 ft of climbing through Eden Valley and the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Expect meadows, waterfalls, cairns and historic villages on largely off road, scenic terrain.

Run a muddy, hilly 5k through Hamsterley Forest with natural obstacles and a fun, small field vibe. Open to runners and dogs, entries capped at 50 and finishers get medals and photos.

Granny's Bay Challenge on 8 March 2026 in Lytham St Annes offers a scenic, flat 5.24 mile estuary loop. This 6 hour timed event lets you run as many laps as you like and earn an official time and medal after one lap; entries limited to 100.

Take on the Roddlesworth Roller, a scenic 9 km trail around lakes and through woods on good paths and roads. Held at Abbey Village on 8 March 2026, this friendly community race welcomes all ages and raises funds for the school PTA.

Take on the classic Carrock Fell race in the Lake District, a 9 km challenge with 500 m of ascent across rugged fells. Entry is on the day with low fees for members and non members, parking on the field when dry and a friendly fell running..

Haworth Hobble is a classic March fell ultra across rugged moorland around Haworth and Hebden Bridge, offering a true off road challenge. Expect wintry, remote terrain, mandatory kit and navigation with no GPS but live trackers.

Punk Panther Welcome Way in Otley offers scenic but challenging trail routes along moorland, rivers and reservoirs, with distances from 13 to 50 miles. Rugged climbs, checkpoints and a finisher medal and T shirt await all finishers.

Join the Trotters 5 Mile Community Trail Run at Smithills Sports Centre in Bolton on 15 March 2026 for a friendly, chip timed five mile off road challenge. Entry limited to 300 runners so grab your spot and enjoy a community atmosphere.

Test yourself on Sun 15 Mar 2026 in the Lake District with a 15 km fell race from Muncaster Castle featuring 620 m of climb over rough, sometimes navigational terrain. Entry is cash only on the day, £5, teams welcome.

The Mount Karrin will take place in Sulby on Sunday 15 March 2026. You can run 14 kilometers.

Take on a scenic 8 km trail with about 400 m of climb around Bulbys Wood, Ingram on Sun 15 Mar 2026. Entry is on the day only, £5, for runners aged 16 or over seeking a tough, rewarding hill challenge.

Tackle the Link Challenge 2026, a 20 mile trail run or hike linking six charming villages around Bury, with scenic trails, checkpoints and a finisher neck gaiter. All proceeds support the Sunnywood Project youth and community work.
