Trail Running calendar near Blanchland 2026-2027

An ultra trail along the Northumberland coast from near Bamburgh Castle to Druridge Bay Country Park, offering 54 km and a new 27 km option. Routes, feed stations, mandatory kit requirements and live chip timing are provided.

A roughly 5k trail race at Hamsterley Forest on 8 March 2026 with mud, hills and obstacles; dogs are welcome and veterinary and canine first aid cover are provided. Teams of five compete for Top Dogz awards based on aggregate time.

Blakey Blitz on 14 March 2026 is a tough 16.8 km moorland race near Whitby with 855 m of climb and sweeping North York Moors views. Fast, scenic and ideal for experienced fell runners looking for a proper challenge.
