Trail Running calendar near Geelong 2026-2027

Celebrate the new year on the trails of the You Yangs with a supported night run. Enjoy breathtaking views of fireworks from Melbourne to Geelong while participating in distances ranging from 5 km to 50 km.

A coastal trail event on the Mornington Peninsula with 28 km and 56 km options between Dromana and Cape Schanck. Entries for the January 2027 edition require prior qualification and follow published entrant information.

A 5K obstacle-course fun run in Myrniong on 23 January 2027 with over 25 obstacles, mud pits, foam and an inflatable waterslide. Festival amenities include a free kids zone for under sixes, vendors and a beer garden.

The Trailsplus - Maribyrnong Valley Park Backyard Ultra will take place in Keilor from Friday 5 February 2027 to Monday 8 February 2027. You can run between 7 and 100 kilometers.

A family organised coastal trail event on the Bellarine Peninsula offering a half marathon, a 10.5 km and a 4 km community run, with medals for all finishers and a focus on exercise and children's mental health.

A community run along the Barwon River at Barwon Valley Park on 28 February 2027 offering 10 km and 5 km run/walk options. Finishers receive a medal and the event supports River's Gift SIDS fundraising.

The Brimbank Park Running Festival will take place in Keilor East on Sunday 21 March 2027. You can run between 5 and 50 kilometers.
