Rosebud Running Festival

The Rosebud Running Festival takes place on Sunday 13 June 2027 in Rosebud, Victoria, with the start and finish at Rosebud Skate Park, 1455 Point Nepean Road. The event has a maximum entry capacity of 1,000 participants across all distances.

The course follows a combination of road, shared pathways, sections of the Bay Trail and foreshore camping reserve, passing through Rosebud, McCrae, Capel Sound and Rye. The terrain is predominantly flat. Major turnaround points will include timing mats and the marathon consists of two laps of the marathon course.

Every participant who crosses the finish line receives an official finisher medal. Walkers are permitted in the 10 km and 5 km events and parents may run alongside younger children in the 1 km race. Facilities provided during the event include public and portable toilets, drinking water taps, aid stations, course first aid and a clothing bag drop near the start and finish. The course is clearly marked with signage, flags, cones, fencing and turnaround markers to help participants follow the designated route. A 7 km handicap race at Drysdale Recreation Reserve with start and finish at the reserve's lower area on Wyndham Street, organised by the Geelong Cross Country Club and sponsored by Corrective Chiropractic Bellarine.

An annual community trail run at Devilbend Natural Features Reserve on the Mornington Peninsula offering multiple distances and a Magic Mile for children. Courses use grass, gravel, stone, mud and clay and funds support the Mornington Penin..

A community running event on the Bellarine Rail Trail with 17 km and 34 km options on mostly unsealed, well marked paths. Entries are capped and the event is presented as a non competitive training run for larger road events.

An 8 km handicap-format run at Ocean Grove Riverside on August 30, 2026, starting and finishing at the Ocean Grove Golf Club car park; the event is sponsored by Bellarine Sports Medicine Centre.
