Rosebud Running Festival : Rosebud, Mornington Peninsula

The Rosebud Running Festival takes place on 7 June 2026 and features multiple running and walking events held along road and foreshore trails on the Mornington Peninsula. The event start and finish are located at Rosebud Skate Park and the course runs along Nepean Highway and the Bay Trail, with sections passing Capel Sound and approaching Rye Pier. The route is mainly Bay Trail with some asphalt paths and passes through a foreshore camping area where public taps and toilets are available.

Course marking includes orange flags, cones, fences with arrows and directional signage. Major turnaround points are fenced and have timing mats to ensure correct distances. Water and sports drink stations are provided approximately every 3 to 4 km for the half marathon; the 10 km has two drink stations and the 5 km has none. St John First Aid crews will be located at the finish line and on the course. A clothing bag drop area and bike parking are provided at the event site.

All finishers receive a finishers medal. Maximum competitors across all events is 1000. Age rules apply: marathon 16 years or older, half marathon 14 years or older, 10 km minimum 8 years, 5 km no minimum, kids 1 km maximum age 10 years.
