Event overview
The Rosebud Running Festival will be held on 7 June 2026 in Rosebud, Victoria. The event has a maximum of 1,000 competitors across all distances, with the full marathon limited to 150 entries. The start and finish are located at Rosebud Skate Park, corner Nepean Highway and Boneo Road. Every finisher receives a finishers medal. Timing devices are built into race bibs and timing mats are placed at turnaround points to confirm completion of the entered distance.

Course, support and rules
The course uses the Bay Trail and some asphalt paths, running in and out of the foreshore camping area. Shorter events run from Rosebud toward McCrae and back; half and full marathon routes continue past Rosebud toward Capel Sound with a turnaround before Rye Pier. The course will be marked with orange flags, cones, fences and directional signage. Water and sports drink stations are placed roughly every 3-4 km for the half marathon; the 10 km has two drink stations and the 5 km has none. Taps and toilets are available along the route. St John first aid crews will be at the finish and on the course. No dogs, bikes, scooters or rollerblades are allowed on the course.
Logistics and other information
Bike parking and a clothing bag drop will be available at the event site. Competitors can collect bibs for others if they know the entrant details. The organiser may alter the course or format for safety or due to direction from authorities. Athletes are responsible for completing the correct course distance.
