Event overview

The Werribee Mansion Run is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Werribee Park Mansion, Werribee South. Entry opens on Christmas Day 2025 and the event has a field limit of 1500 participants. Distances offered include:

  • Half Marathon (two-lap course)
  • 10 km
  • 5.5 km
  • Kids Dash : about 1.2 km

The event supports the Leukaemia Foundation. Finishers in the Half Marathon, 10 km and 5.5 km receive medals and age-group awards; Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be given in each age category and overall winners receive trophies. All finishers receive a medal at the Kids Dash; that dash is not timed.

Participant information and course details

Race bibs can be personalised for registrants who meet organisers’ cut-off dates. A postage option for race bibs is available for a fee to those who register by March 15, 2026; in-person bib collection is also provided. Age groups are listed from Junior (13-17) through 70+, and Kids (7-12) are eligible for the 5.5 km event. The 5.5 km event is open to walkers; longer events expect participants to run or jog most of the course.

The course includes a set of stairs about 500 m from the finish and is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs. Drink stations are located on course at approximately every 2 km. A staffed bag storage area for non-valuable items will be available. Public liability insurance is in place but does not cover individual medical or rescue costs. Last Legend at Woodlands Park, Greenvale on 14 December 2025 challenges runners on a repeating 2.5 km loop with shrinking time limits, testing pace and grit. Choose a set distance or go All the Way while supporting Canteen.

Run the Portsea Twilight at the historic Quarantine Station with sweeping Bass Strait and Port Phillip Bay views on a course closed to vehicles. Relax afterwards in the event village with food trucks, a bar, live music and family fun.

Experience coastal trails and a beach finish at Portsea Bay to Surf, a community run that celebrates fun and fitness. Pick a 9 km challenge or 4.5 km run or walk with on day sign up and shuttles between Jarman Oval and Portsea Surf Club.

MVP Backyard Ultra Last One Standing at Brimbank Park challenges runners to run a 6.7 km loop every hour until one remains. Choose 25k, marathon, 100k or go open for unlimited laps while supporting Canteen through event donations.
