River Run Geelong

Belmont, Australia • 1 Mar 2026

Event overview

River Run Geelong takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Barwon Valley Park, Barabool Rd, Belmont. The event offers two distances:

  • 10 km
  • 5 km

The 10 km field is limited to 900 runners and the 5 km field to 600, with a total field limit of 1,500. The event typically reaches its field limit well before race day. All finishers receive a medal. The 5 km is open to walkers; the 10 km is intended for participants who will jog most of the course and complete it in under 1 hour 30 minutes. Drink stations are positioned on course at approximately 2 km intervals. First aid personnel will be at the finish and mobile first aid will patrol the course by bicycle. An extreme heat policy may lead to shortening the 10 km course in extreme conditions.
