The 5K Foam Fest - West Melbourne

The 5K Foam Fest is an obstacle-based fun run held at 64 Garrards Ln, Myrniong in Victoria. The event features a course with over 25 obstacles, which include mud pits, the world's largest inflatable waterslide, and 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. The course is designed for participants to complete at their own pace, and all obstacles are optional.

Participants have access to the following distances and categories:

• 5 km obstacle course for ages 7 and up.

Children aged 7 to 12 must participate with a registered adult, while those aged 13 to 17 may run without a chaperone. Children aged 6 and under are not permitted on the main course but have access to a free Kids FUN Zone, which includes a mini inflatable obstacle course and a bounce house.

The event site includes a festival area with music, local vendors, and a beer garden. Participants receive a registration pack that includes a string bag, buff, finisher's medal, and Foam Fest tattoo. Facilities such as water stations, shower stations, and change rooms are available on-site. The event serves as a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Australia.
