Macedon Trail Run : Sunday 4 October 2026

Macedon Trail Run is the fourth race in the Trailsplus Mountain Trail Series. It takes place on Mount Macedon, with the start and finish located at the BBQ area next to the carpark at the top of the mountain. The course uses mountain trails on the Macedon Ranges and includes varied terrain with ascents and descents. Trails on the mountain can be blanketed in fog, which may limit visibility on sections of the course.

Maps, GPX and CRS files are provided for each distance. New maps were prepared for 2025 while works were being done on some trails. Entry fees include GST and Humanitix booking fees are added at checkout. Pricing varies by registration period (super special, early bird, standard, late) and on-day registration is available at higher cost.

Trailsplus donates $1 per participant to Canteen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer. Trailsplus reports total donations have surpassed $80,000.
