Macedon Trail Runs
Macedon Trail Runs is a mountain trail running event held at Mt Macedon in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, on 4 October 2026. The course runs through mountain forest and mountain tracks on and around one of the highest peaks in the range.
The route features sections often wrapped in mountain fog, forested trails, steep ascents and fast descents. Runners encounter varied and technical trail terrain and reach viewpoints and natural surroundings at the top of Mt Macedon. The event includes a race village area suitable for families, supporters and finish-line atmosphere.

- 21 km trail race distance
- 30 km mid trail distance
- 42 km trail marathon distance
- 50 km ultra trail challenge
Macedon Trail Runs is the fourth event in the Trailsplus Mountain Series, a season-long series of five trail races across Victoria. Trailsplus events donate one dollar from every participant entry to Canteen, and the series has contributed more than $90,000 to Canteen Victoria.
