True Grit Melbourne : Wildwood Rock Enduro
True Grit Melbourne is a military-inspired obstacle challenge held at Wildwood Rock Enduro, Feehans Rd, Wildwood, VIC in November 2026 on Saturday 28th. The event uses natural terrain and features mud, rugged rock and a festival area with food, music and drinks. Facilities on site include change tents, showers, medical support, and parking is available for a fee.
Course options:
- 5 km course with 15+ obstacles, minimum age 12+
- 10 km course with 35+ obstacles, minimum age 16+
- 10 km Elite timed course with 35+ obstacles, Elite entry is on Saturday only
All finishers receive a finisher t-shirt; optional finisher beer is available. Water is provided during the event and a Staminade electrolyte drink is offered on completion. Professional photography is available at selected obstacles for later purchase. Typical on-course support includes at least one water station around the halfway mark; participants may bring a hydro-pack or drink bottle.
Elite competitors must attempt every obstacle and incur a 20 burpee penalty for each failed or missed obstacle; top three male and female finishers on the podium receive prizes. Volunteers pay a registration amount that is refunded after completed shifts, allowing them to run for free if they choose.
