True Grit Melbourne at Wildwood Rock Enduro
True Grit will take place at Wildwood Rock Enduro in Wildwood, Victoria on Saturday 28 November 2026. The event uses natural terrain to host a military-inspired obstacle course with mud, climbing and carrying sections.
Distances offered:
- 10km Elite timed with podium prizes, minimum age 16 years
- 10km classic course, minimum age 16 years
- 5km shorter course, minimum age 12 years
The 10km route includes more than 30 obstacles and the 5km route includes 15 or more obstacles. Obstacles designed for this location include monkey bars, traverse ropes, sandbag and tyre carries, pontoon bridges, climbs and wall sections. The Elite category must attempt every obstacle and incurs a 20 burpee penalty for each failed obstacle; Elite finish times are recorded for qualification and podium placement.
Team entries are available with team deals for larger groups; teams can be any size and a minimum of two people is recommended. There is a Black Dog Wave for solo participants who want to run with others.
Participants receive a finisher t-shirt and an electrolyte drink on completion; an optional finisher beer is available. Water is provided during the event and typically at least one water station is located near the halfway point. Onsite parking is available for a fee and special areas are provided for minibuses and coaches. Minors under 18 require a guardian waiver.
