Brimbank Park Running Festival

The Brimbank Park Running Festival takes place on Sunday 21st March 2027 at Brimbank Park, Keilor Park Drive, Keilor VIC 3036. The event offers multiple trail distances to accommodate a range of race preferences.

The park is located about 15 minutes north-west of the city and features open spaces, wooded river trails, a river crossing and a small number of climbs. The course options allow walking, running, or a mix of both.

Course maps are provided for each distance and downloadable GPX and CRS files are available. Check-in and the race briefing are compulsory for competitors, and race bibs are collected at check-in.

A Team Challenge is offered for school, club or workplace teams; teams earn one point for each kilometre covered and the team with the highest total kilometres wins prizes. Volunteers are used on race day.

Fees for 2026 are shown inclusive of GST with an additional booking fee at checkout. On-day registration is available on site with an extra administration fee.

Trailsplus donates one dollar per participant to Canteen. By 2025 Trailsplus had donated over $80,000 to Canteen, and the 2025 event had 274 competitors with a total donation of $331 from that event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Trail runs nearby

An ultrarun at Studley Park on 2 May 26 where runners repeat a 6.71 km loop each hour and continue for as many laps as they manage. AUTRA members receive a 10% discount.

Trail races at Woodlands Historic Park in Greenvale on 24 May 2026, with distances from 2 km up to 50 km and a 10 km canicross option; maps and GPS files are provided and registration is via Humanitix.

Off-road duathlons and trail runs at You Yangs Regional Park on May 31, 2026, with course options from a long duathlon to 4 km trail run. Courses pass granite peaks and forested single track with medals for finishers.

Trail running in Brisbane Ranges National Park with 10 km, 21 km, 42 km and 50 km courses, downloadable GPX files, tiered entry fees, and a charitable donation to Canteen.
