Trail Running Calendar United States 2026-2027

At Willamette Mission State Park, Mission Possible offers chip-timed 5K and 10K trail races plus accessible 2.25- and 1.6-mile All Abilities loops, volunteers on course, and post-event pancakes; part of fees support the All Abilities event.

A community trail event at Woodlands Preserve in Belle Chasse on September 26, 2026 featuring a 5K and a 1 mile fun run. Proceeds and registration fees support Woodlands Conservancy land protection and restoration.

OUTLAST Colorado Springs is a 6 hour trail challenge with a 5K lap every hour for six rounds. Patches and a medal are awarded for laps completed and finishers are ranked on a national leaderboard with cash prizes for top times.

A fourth annual trail run in Lakeland, TN focused on stormwater education and green infrastructure, featuring a 3 mile trail and a 1 mile fun run plus a park Water Quality Festival with music and food trucks.

A 50K trail race at Little Pine State Park near Waterville, PA on September 26, 2026. The route follows rugged, technical trails with about 7,500 feet of climbing and an 11 hour cutoff; median finish is about 7 hours 45 minutes.

Granite Mountain Grind is an inaugural 50K trail race in Prescott, Arizona through the Granite Mountains with rocky climbs, technical singletrack and high desert views. The field is limited to 100 runners and the race is fully supported.

A point to point ultramarathon on the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail from Mile 46 to Mile 0 near Ohiopyle. Features a 50 mile individual race and a five person relay with multiple stocked aid stations and designated crew access points.

Trail races at Salem Lake Marina feature a 30K, a 7-mile loop, and a 5K on a mostly shaded wooded trail, with water stops, packet pickup, post-race food and beer, and proceeds benefiting the Salem Lake Trail System.

Run the Rock Rockville is the fourth annual 5K at Luck Stone Rockville on 26 September 2026, featuring a course through a working quarry and a post race zone with vendors, music, raffles, and family activities.

Trail races in Morgan Hill State Forest near Fabius NY use mostly single track trails with ponds, waterfalls, and notable elevation. Distances include a marathon and a half marathon with on course aid stations and awards.

A weekend of endurance mountain biking and trail ultrarunning at Ascutney Outdoors in West Windsor Vermont, offering 50 mile and 50 km solo races, multiple relay formats, and kids fun races. Proceeds support Vermont Adaptive.

Trail races on the restored Moosup Valley State Park Trail in Moosup CT with 5K, 10K and a free Kids Fun Run, post-race food at Rotary Park, and proceeds supporting the Rotary Club of Plainfield Foundation.

A looped trail ultra at Wolfe's Neck Farm in Freeport, ME, on a just over 5 mile dirt loop with stairs, bridges, and about 570 feet of gain per loop. Distances include 50 mile, 30 mile, and 10 mile options.
