Night Owl 5K
Night Owl 5K takes place on December 11, 2026, at the Lake Haigler entrance of Anne Springs Close Greenway. The event uses Greenway trails at night and starts and finishes at the Lake Haigler entrance for the 5K course. Participants and spectators have access to the Greenway Canteen restaurant and the visitor center for gear and membership services.

- 1-mile Fun Run/Walk untimed trail run or walk
The Hike Challenge gives participants the opportunity to experience the 5K course without timing. The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk runs alongside the 5K course and includes a finisher’s prize at the finish line. The event information notes that participants may use headlamps, glow sticks, and flashlights for nighttime visibility.
Awards apply only to the 5K and include Top 3 Overall Male and Female plus Top 3 Male and Female in age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Race swag for 2026 is noted as forthcoming.
Registration is non-refundable unless a purchased refund protection plan applies. Events run rain or shine except in cases of severe weather, when cancellation may occur without refund unless refund protection was purchased. Volunteers are used for race operations.
