Jingle Trails at McAllister Park
Jingle Trails takes place on December 12, 2026, at the Optimist Pavilion in McAllister Park, San Antonio, Texas. The event includes chip-timed trail races on marked natural trails with technical sections.
Distances offered:
- 20k (12.4 miles) two loops of McAllister's blue trail loop.
- 10k (6.2 miles) one blue loop; course may include a short detour.
- 5k (3.1 miles) route through McAllister Park red trail sections.
Runners should expect dirt, rocks, roots and single-track areas. The course has technical sections; strollers and joggers are explicitly not recommended for the 20k and 10k, and strollers, joggers, and dogs are not recommended for the 5k.
Packet pickup is scheduled during race week at designated locations including iRun Bitters and at the race site on race day. The 20k is laid out as two laps of the blue loop.
All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Additional event items include Jingle Trails mugs for the first 200 packet pickups and assorted beanies distributed at packet pickup on a first-come, first-served basis. Complimentary Shiner beer is available at the finish. Overall and masters awards are given for first through third place, male and female, in each distance; there are no age group awards.
