OUTLAST SAN ANTONIO

OUTLAST San Antonio is a six hour trail endurance challenge held on 12/12/2026 at 1349 Neal Rd, San Antonio, TX 78264. Participants run a 5K every hour, on the hour, and must finish each lap within the hour to continue in the event. Completing all six laps equals 18 miles.

The course is trail based with natural terrain, elevation changes, and occasional pavement or gravel. Runners have time between laps to recover, refuel, and prepare for the next 5K. Aid is available at the basecamp or loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event, so runners are expected to use their own bottle or hydration system.

Recognition and awards are given by laps completed and by combined time. Runners who complete four laps receive a “Grit Earned” patch, five laps earn a “Survivor” patch, and six laps earn a premium OUTLAST medal. All participants receive an OUTLAST tee. Top male and female runners at the event are determined by the fastest combined 5K times and receive the 1st Place OUTLAST award. Finishers are ranked on a national leaderboard; the fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6-hour events is crowned National Champion and receives a $1,000 prize.

The top five male and female 6-hour finishers from each city earn spots in the Outlast Championship in DFW on December 4, 2027. Championship prizes for first through third place are $1,200, $800, and $500 respectively.
