OUTLAST San Antonio
OUTLAST San Antonio is a 6 hour trail endurance challenge held on December 12, 2026, at 1349 Neal Rd, San Antonio, TX 78264. The event format requires participants to complete a 5K every hour; each lap must be finished within the hour to remain in the event. Runners who miss a lap are removed from further competition. Completing all six rounds awards the event medal.
The course is trail based and includes natural terrain, elevation, and variable footing such as dirt, rocks, and roots. Some sections may include pavement or gravel. The event provides a basecamp with water, basic hydration, and snacks; it is a cupless event so participants must carry their own bottle or hydration system. Participants may set up a personal tent or aid station at the site.
Awards and recognition are provided by lap completion and finishing position. Participants who complete four laps receive a “Grit Earned” patch; five laps earn a “Survivor” patch; six laps earn a premium OUTLAST medal. All participants receive an OUTLAST tee. The fastest combined 5K times by male and female finishers at the event win the 1st Place OUTLAST award and are ranked on a national leaderboard.
