August 2026

A Last Runner Standing backyard ultra on a family farm in Glenmont, OH featuring trails under old growth timber and through prairie, free camping and parking, and a history of several prior editions.

A 5K Run and Walk held on airfield grounds in Malvern, Ohio, routed on hard packed dirt beside a grass private runway. Registration opens April 1 and the fee is $25.

An hourly backyard ultra at Alum Creek State Park where runners repeat a 4.167 mile loop until only one completes an extra lap. Singletrack and grass ski paths include moderate climbs and may require headlamps for night loops.

Trail races of 5 and 10 miles take place on 8 August 2026 at Oak Hill Trail Head in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Registration opens in November 2025 and fees vary by distance.

Trail loops beside Alum Creek Reservoir in Lewis Center, Ohio on August 8. Options are 7K, 13K, 20K and 26K on a marked 4.1 mile loop with race shirts and finisher amenities.

A night trail running event in Lewis Center, OH along Alum Creek Reservoir with looped laps from 7K to 26K. Headlamps are required and the course is marked with LED lights.

A 10 km trail race at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park through prairies, fields and riparian forest. ORRRC members run free while non-members pay a modest fee; check-in with a timing chip is required and service dogs only are permitted.

September 2026

An ultramarathon on a mostly trail 25 mile loop at Camp Tuscazoar offering 25, 50, 75 and 100 mile options with day and night starts, cupless aid stations, drop bag support, pacer rules for the longest distances, and awards for all finisher..

Experience a unique trail race at Camp Manatoc featuring technical single track paths normally closed to the public. Run the half marathon 15k or 5k distances through wooded terrain with special permission to bring your dog along.

Sprint For Survivors is the 8th annual run in Marysville on September 12, 2026. Distances include a 1 Mile, a 5k and a 10k and proceeds support She Dreams Again and its transitional home for trauma survivors.

Support service members and their families at Reynoldsburg Civic Park. Choose between a 5k obstacle course with mud and walls or a stroller friendly paved 5k run through the park grounds.

A trail run at Richfield Heritage Preserve with 50K, half marathon and 10K on a six-mile loop. The course mixes single-track, bridle trails, fields and camp roads with natural trail obstacles and early autumn scenery.
